% Welcome to the digital lair of DMadHatr, hosted on the SDF-9Front system at 9p.sdf.org. This is your entry point to the raw, minimalist power of Plan 9 - all this or Three times the money back! Many thanks to the folks at 9front.org and sl at cat-v.org
% Currently working on mod'ing files on our shared server instance here at 9p.sdf.org to see the differences between file modifications between my native install of 9front and here on sdf.org. Currently have a good custom modifcation of rio going - we'll see how it goes. Special thanks to smj for letting me hack on some of the src for rio - thankfully I didn't break anything. Also, a big thanks to Adventuresin9.
% Behold the Plan 9 desktop, running a custom rio with wallpaper. SDF's 9p instance requires a few more steps than a standard desktop install. Check out the setup below.
% Right now, just checking to make sure my ports are correct and I'm not breaking anything. Next, testing some firmware on some older wifi cards. My current uptime with a 6235 ANNGW NGFF Intel card using driver iwn-6030 from OpenBSD is around 3 to 5 days with acceptable data stream, including anonradio. Also, trying to make sure this page works on a production browser and netsurf. Cross code check for this site was done by ratxue, quintin from sdf and some assistance from Grok to check code flow. No cookies, google $hit and as little java as possible. Site works in netsurf and mothra - not so sure about abaco.
% This desktop setup was crafted with the following code and resources:
rio wallpaper patch: Adapted from Plan 9/9front source with modifications to data.c for wallpaper loading.mk and 6c tools, details from C Programming in Plan 9.clock.blk and my modified iconinit for rio, from Devine Lu Linvega.nc and Virtual Directory vdir for desktop, from the Shit Hub Repo and was built by Phil9.bar.play and ANONRadio Player anonradio was buit by me with code coming from the 9Front bar man page.vt.green is from both SMJ, k0ga and the 9Front vt100 terminal source code - I simply rebuild it for my own uses, you can get the executable from the SDF 9Front server.gfetch are from their respective github resource page(s) with thanks to ARWN.netsurf is what I use instead of Mothra (I suffered through the 90's browsers - bit me) : find it at netsurf-plan9 nsport.zuke is by sigrid, finder her at ftrv.se.
